Sunday, May 23, 2010 She comes all the way from Australia, helmed the Aussie Yngling at the Olympic Games of 2008 in Qingdao and is back in her Laser Radial. Krystal Weir finished seventh in yesterday’s race. “I just came back into it”, she says. “A seventh place is nothing special, but I am learning how to get off the line again. We have a couple of days here and then we continue with the Delta Lloyd Regatta.”She used to sail the Laser Radial before she replaced Yngling skipper Nicky Bethwaite, who broke her arms just before the Games. Krystal in Amsterdam

Well it has been one week since I left Australia for sunny Holland. I have been spending the past week trying to recover from jetlag and get myself ready for racing at my first event in Scheveningen at the North Sea Regatta. I have been staying with Renske and Pim my Dutch friends exploring Amsterdam, Ann Frank House and also there famous football stadium where I was able to see the making of the stage for the Toppers concert.
