6 WEEK TRANSITION PROGRAM

Transition Program 2019 APRIL

Head Coach- Krystal Weir x2 Olympian, Laser Radial World Champion, multiple laser national and World Cup winner.

Coach’s – Krystal Weir & Guest Laser Coaches (TBC)
This is an opportunity for junior sailors to make the next step in the Laser 4.7 class. This is a fast track program open to all sailors aged between 13years old and 16years old.

Skills- Tacking, Gybing, hiking technique, speed work, basic strategy and tactics, launching, capsize techniques, Laser specific rigging and settings, injury prevention.

The First weekend of the school holidays at the end of the school holidays is designed for sailors to FAST TRACK their skills and to invite youth sailors from other states to join the program.

The rest of the program is on Sundays mornings over the 6 week period.

Note- you can choose to do the entire program or just the first weekend. It is recommend that you participate in the initial camp.
