BEIJING Olympian Krystal Weir has her 2012 London Games campaign off to a flyer, leading the Aussie charge at this week's Sail Melbourne regatta at Sandringham. The Brighton resident is among five women fighting to represent Australia in the Laser Radial class at the 2012 Games, with just one spot up for grabs. Weir, 25, said she was determined to make the most of her hometown event. "This is a really important event for me, this could ultimately decide if I go (to London)," Weir said. "Sandringham is my home club, so I'm going to make the most of this event." Currently in 14th place after yesterday's events, Weir is 11 points ahead of her closest Australian competitor.
