This time we just took it all too far. We had two lasers double stacked ontop of the car with a coach boat and laser on a very small trailer traveling on the back.

Late into our trip with only 160km to go before hitting Hamburg to pick up Nocka from the airport, black smoke hammered out of the back of the car, with the smell of burning rubber. I jumped on the breaks, and pulled over on the A1 Motorway …German cars and trucks moving at 150+km per hr.

We all jumped out of the car (Myself and two Cook Island sailors Helema & Taua), to find an Axle in Half on the road. (This was only the beginning).

One half hours of waiting for a tow truck, then driving to some strange little town in Germany ..Kirchhatten?? Staying the night, eating dinner (avoiding Salad ..E-Colli??), walking in front of a black cat, backtracking to then pick up another replacement trailer…the town was called Bad Bentheim..funny that.. Bad?? Then driving past a truck that lost it load, wood chips flying at us.

Finally we got ourselves back on track to Kiel to get Nock in Hamburg. Epic! Woah. We made it!
