Worlds Wrap Up in Boltenhagen

Krystal finishes a disappointing 21st at the World in Boltenhagen. Yet posted some great results during the regatta with a 1st & 3rd going into Gold Fleet.

It was a very tricky regatta in Boltenhagen Germany with 30 degree shifts mosts days or a slow persistent shift that you did not what to be the wrong side of. I had a great qualifying series heading into Gold Fleet in 6th place. During Gold fleet racing things just didnt fall my way. I had an incident with a ferry spectator boat that came across our course on day one, on day two tricky winds where i just didnt pick it right and on day three I had to do a 720 off the start line which is not fast.

I learnt so much during this regatta, we had 140boats competing from all over the world. I am looking forward to next years worlds where I can turn things around.

I am now heading to Holland Regatta for the Delta LLoyd regatta before heading over to Weymouth for training and Sail for Gold.
