Sailing up North!

Krystal is up in Norther NSW jumping onboard different catamarans, learning the ropes.

Over the past three month I have been posted for work up in Kempsey NSW for three months with my physiotherapy job. In the mean time I have meet some amazing people who have introduced me to many different types of cat sailing.

Over at the Great Lakes Sailing Club in Foster, John White and his sons Caleb & Ethan have been introducing me to the Hobie 16. It is a great club hidden in amongst palm trees in the middle of the bush. Kingsley Pursch who helps run the show down there is a keen cat sailor and my new crew for the Hobie 16 Open Worlds in Jervis bay in February. http://greatlakessailingclub.yachting.org.au/

Frank O’Rourke has been introducing me to river sailing at Port Macquarie Sailing Club http://sailing.safeport.com.au/ on the Arrow. I will be sailing in the State Titles and Nationals thanks to Frank and all his hard work with getting a boat together for me.

In the next coming weeks I will be sailing on Maricat at Queens Lake Sailing Club with Rohan Nosworthy of www.midcoastsails.com.au sails helping me get on the water.  https://www.facebook.com/QueensLakeSailingClub

Otherwise I have been very busy taking my mini 4WD into sand and getting bogged!! kite surfing down in Victoria with the boys & girls at Peninsula Kiteboarding and surfing down in Crescent head.
