Sailing onboard Team Wicked

What an amazing trip across from Melbourne to Adelaide. Jokes were flying aplenty for the entire trip. We couldn't have ask for better conditions! The wind was amazing with 20knots on a cracked reach for 90% of the trip. Our crew for the trip was Hughy (amazing cook), Mike (salty sea dog & boat owner), Kate Goss (Bow chick), Azza (Extreme mast climber), Mark (Newbie/ soon becoming the best onboard) & Krystal (Laser sailor/ whats a winch?) This was my first ever trip outside the heads in the ocean on a yacht. This is stage one of our mission to compete in the Sydney to Hobart at the end of the year. Follow the team on Team Wicked Facebook page Below is the link to Lincoln race week Starting 19th...

Oman Laser Radial Worlds

It has been a tough week of racing in Oman. The conditions have been very tricky with large shifts, sloppy waves & winds under 10knots. Today was the first day of having winds above 12knots, I wasnt able to get a clean set of results together to make it into gold fleet so I am sailing hard against the girls in silver fleet. We have two more days of racing before the end of the series. If you would like to follow the rest of the results please look at the link below. https://sailing.laserinternational.org/site/event-site/14 Big thank you to thoses who have helped me to make it over here. Namely Veolia & Architecture HQ. I am looking forward to coming home from the Worlds with this experience under my belt...

Port Philips Win for Krystal

Last weekend was the Laser Port Philips event at Sorrento. What a tricky regatta that was! On the saturday we didn't have any racing due to no wind. On sunday was a totally different story! We had an eight race sprint series, with quick fast racing & a tremendous amount of tide!! In the end we all had black flags but luckily I had some good races towards the end of the series to get the win. Very close with all my awesome Victorian training partners. Rhett, Brody, Hamish, Will, Jack & Alex. Well done to Hamish 2nd, Rob 3rd in the Laser Radials. Results http://www.sailingresults.net/site/event/106/overall_2.html?Tkn=144242...
