Hi All, My Uk number is +447788613672 for those who wish to contact me before i head down to Hyeres for the next installment of the ISAF World Cup France. I have been back in Weymouth (Olympic Venue) for a bit of R nR which included windsurfing in 25-30knots on a 74L simmer (amazing fun). Krystal 5th @ Palma ISAF Grade One

Krystal finsihes 5th overall in her first ISAF European event It has been a busy few weeks in Europe. After a very long flight from Australia I finally made it to the small island off Barcelona called Palma. All the different classes are scattered around at different clubs around Palma. The lasers were at a cute tourist town call Can Pastilla. Yachting Australia set up coaching for the event for me with Fernando Alegre. He is a great coach who has helped me with boat on boat tactics and fleet strategy. I spent the regatta all ears on how to control boats around me. Over the past month I have been training hard in Sydney and Melbourne with my training partner Jeremy O'Connel and coaches Laura Baldwin and Michael Blackburn. We have been utilising the National Training Centre at Middle Harbour Yacht Club. It has been a great couple of weeks squeezing in training and two regattas. The Victorian State Titles were run from Somers Yacht Club on Western Port Bay VIC. and the NSW State Titles were run from Gosford Sailing Club, NSW. Congrats to Jeremy who took out the VIC State Titles. Both these events were tricky ones for me as I found it hard to find my form after a month off sailing Lasers in January. RSX Nationals @ the Downunder Pro Tour

RSX Nationals were held up in Hawkes Nest, 3hours north of Sydney. It was a great event that ran in conjunction with the Raceboard & Bic Nationals. We had a great turnout of both 8.5 & 9.5m, Sailors from Norway, Japan, New Zealand and Australia all competed. Congratulations to Jessica Crisp and Luke Baillie for taking out there respective National titles. It was a great event for me as it helped me with balance, tactics on the water, exteme fitness and is always a lot of fun. We had a mixture of conditions ranging from full planning to marginal. It is really great to see how healthy the RSX class is in Australia and how it is growing. Thank you to all who welcomed me into there...

Krystal competes @ Breakwater to Beacon Windsurf Race

Over the weekend the "Breakwater to Beacon" race was on, down at the beach at Sandringham. The event was really well run by Windsurfing Victoria and Sailboard Head Quarter SHQ. On the sunday of the race it was my birthday and I couldn't have thought of a better way to spend it then on the water. I had a bit of a tough start to the race, with a slow beach start on the Formula board. Once I finally got up and planning and narrowly skipping over the reef with my massive fin..i was off and running. I finished around mid fleet which i was happy with. A big surprise of the day was that i won the lucky door prize! Which was a new short board...

Krystal wins Womens Australian Nationals

After a tight battle with Tristan Brown of WA Krystal finishes second overall in the Open Laser Radial and first overall in the Womens.  It was a tough day on the water with another tricky easterly wind on Morton Bay. We had two races in under 10knots. In the first race I started towards the boat and played the shifts up the middle of the course while a group of young New Zealanders all headed out to the left. I rounded the top mark in 6th slowly climbing back to 4th spot. The next race I had a great start in the middle of the line, playing the shifts perfectly up the middle and protecting left where I could. I rounded the top mark with a comfortable lead...

Krystal finishes day five off with a 19th and 1st, now sitting in 4th overall with two more races to go. Today was a very tricky day in queensland. We had a tricky easterly wind blowing today with 40* shifts. The first race was tough as I had a terrible pin end start where I missed the lay and had to tack. I tacked a infringe a another boat so I had to do a 720 (two spins on the spot). For the rest of the race I was playing catch up, it was so shifty but I just couldn't pick it right.
